Alec works in the mediums of photography, painting, design, publishing and arts administration and has been employed and offering services in photography, production and project management, art direction, photo re-touching, digitech, and web & graphic design for the past seven years. Clients include Universities, Writers, Photographers, Artists and a Natural Skin Care Company—the majority of which are located in Tucson, Arizona and the San Francisco Bay Area.
Currently based in Tucson, his studio is located in the historic Citizens Warehouse in the downtown Tucson Warehouse Arts District. Acting President/CEO of the Citizens Artist Collective, he has served this nonprofit organization since 2012 which was established to support the twenty-four artists in the building and strives to preserve the historic warehouse as artist studios indefinitely—a cause for which he holds optimistic ambition.
In January of 2013, he established the small, independent publishing house, Eponymous Atelier. It specializes in the publishing of fine art books, the first of which about the historic Citizens Warehouse.
